This museum contain some of the best paintings that can be seen outside the major museums in our capital cities around the world. They also give exhibitions of a very high class. Now an exhibition of chinese contemporary porcelain art. Great. Buy the artbooks that are available, as often in Russia they come att a very affordable price.

Two floors of art. The ground floor is mostly classical art such as Aivazovsky and many works by Nesterov, while during my visit the first floor had art dedicated to the 2nd world war. This involved portraits of soldiers in uniform, but also some very interesting tryptychs which i would describe as anti-war. 150 r.
