The museum with the deological material from Urals. The professor on exam can ask a student: Where we can find this rock, except Urals? So one can see the complete geological survey of Urals mountains.

The museum was one of the best attractions in the city, but this November I found that it's closed. Visited the second address - ladies in the stone-shop told that the owner decided to close the museum temporary.

There are two mineral collections in Ekaterinburg. This one is a private collection and personally collected by the owner. As such it is an amazing array of specimens. I enjoyed my visit very much.
