Ghamamah means 'cloud'. Whenever the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SW) started offer his prayer here the cloud used to give him shade. That's why the mosque was named so. The well maintained, beautiful, small, historical mosque is located adjacent to the Holy Masjid e Nawabi.

When I visited this mosque, it was locked, so I couldn’t see the inside. However, the outside was lovely. The stone building and domes are amazing.
