This looks like any other new mosque. Nothing to indicate that it is the FIRST mosque in Islam. A lot of sellers crowding outside the mosque.

One of the oldest mosque in the world. Praying 2 Rakat of Nawafil is narrated to have the reward of one umrah. The current mosque layout has an courtyard with seperate praying areas for women.

Quba Mosque is 3 km from Al Nabvi Mosque. Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said 2 rakaats of prayer in this Mosque is equal to one Umarah so all Muslim who visit Madinh they should visit to quba Masque.

This deserves one visit, to pray 2 Rakat Nawafil is narrated to have the reward of one umrah. It's about 10km, 20 minutes away from the Prophets Masjid, so everyone should make this minor effort if one is staying in Medina. Go after Isha, around 9pm onwards to find less of a rush and crowds. Usually it isn't so busy,... More
