We walked through and saw so much. It was overwhelming. We ended up buying jade in a shop on Wenchang road where they also sold jade in rock form. The name of the shop is Huangcheng International jewelry.

Great time walking through the various Jade stores. Be sure to get to the back street area where they have individual ships vs the open market type stalls. There is jade of all qualities, prices and shapes. I was a bit frustrated with some willingness...More

This place is not at all obvious, similar visitors to GZ miss it. Most if it is tucked in behind the street frontages, but it meanders for a long way from decal block up in Liwan all the way to the main walking Street of...More

It was for to walk around and look at all the jade, but the sellers are trying so hard to get a high price that the starting prices were often ridiculous. So much so that it wasn’t worth negotiating, and who but a really sharp...More

This is a city within the city. The Jade village in fact. The winding, twisting streets seem to go on forever. Oddly, every seller seems to be selling exactly the same items, so I'm not entirely sure how they make a living, but it's an...More

Jade and other precious stones are aplenty here in hualin jade street. Over few hundreds of small to big stores all within walking distance. There are some stores with authentification facilities if want to get a real genuine ones!

Jades and jade-like items, mostly beads, pendants and amulets. Overwhelming supply in a variety of colors. The market areas are like a maze and you can easily get lost. Not sure whether the sellers provide a certificate of authenticity.
