It has been awhile since I visited there. It has changed a lot. It was one of the oldest road/popular shopping area in Guangzhou. Many tall buildings have been built around there, in 2002, the government discovered the remains of ancient street underground dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD). Shopping is still as good as years ago in... More

This is a very popular part of town with tourist. It's filled with shops and places to earn. It's worth a visit for anyone visiting Guangzhou. It has a lot of small shops selling unauthorized or fake products which didn't interest me. There are way too many hustlers trying to peddle knock-off watches and clothes - avoid them. Food district... More

The street full of shops and restaurants. It is full of people at all times. You can buy anything you want or need and also you can choose all sorts of different kinds of variety food. The location nothing special to any big shopping center, like New York or London Oxford Street, less luxury but nice and adequate enough.

Most of the clothing are branded Chinese as well as international brands There are also many eateries serving various Chinese food and fast food... More

We were there on the 1st day of their public holiday Qing Ming. The place was so crowed and the prices are slightly higher.

Was there twice during my last visit to Guangzhou. They even have historical pedestrian street built on top of the current pedestrian street. Interesting to know and find out the history of the place. Good for shopping if you are into shopping.

Very popular long pedestrian street with the historical landscape well preserved along the pedestrian street. Lots of local brands in fashion to old style cookies.
