I didn't take the cruises, I just walked around the area, which gives plenty of great views, The walking paths are well maintained and clean, and you can get plenty of great pictures day and night (if it isn't rainy)

Bunch of lights and two pagodas... nothing special, if you've seen one you've seen them all, up to you, nice walk around.

Wow, I would go back to China just to spend more time in this park! Lighted canal boats travel up the river to arched bridges at night connecting lighted gardens of botanical wonders. Floating Chinese stone gardens in the river await your discovery! Every night we ate pork on a stick from the food vendor on the Northern most bridge.... More

It is interesting to see the two pagodas light up at night. The lights are very colorful and the reflection on the lake is interesting and appealing. many locals walk along the lake at night. This is interesting as well.

We decided that we would walk around the lakes to take in the sites especially wanting to see the twin Pagodas. We split the walk into two evenings when all the lites were on as well as the entertainors were putting on performances . The grandchildren were mesmorized by the entertainers with their costumes and the music . Highly recommend... More

An interesting park for an evening stroll with the opportunity to take good reflective photographs of the pagodas at sunset. A good opportunity to mix with local people and to enjoy a friendly atmosphere

It is a nice place to have an evening walk along the river. Guilin is a nice city to visit. we stayed two nights in Guilin and one night in Yangshuo, but it worth staying longer in Yanshou, since there are so many things you can do there. especially if you are a nature enthusiast.

The boat tour feels like a Disneyland knockoff. It cruises by stages where bored-looking musicians sing and play, but they don't cut the motor so you can't hear them! The cormorant fishing is interesting--if you like watching people torture birds. Take a stroll around the lake. It's free, and a much more enjoyable experience.
