Actually it is nothing special. We walked around this park for about 30 minutes. There are better things to do.

Located centrally in Guilin, the Botanical gardens are a must for all visitors. Walk around the extensive lake side area and view the Elephant Bridge rock formation. Easy walks for those with limited ability, or for the fit a mountain steps climb to the summit. Fabulous views of the lake and river areas right out to the mountains one end... More

The gardens are incredibly well manicured. We stayed at the Guilinyi Royal Palace in the botanical gardens and it was lovely!

We were staying at the Hotel in the park so it really was our base. It was nice to see locals enjoying the park. Old ladies and gentlemen dancing, exercising and doing their daily tai chi. Nice to walk around and enjoy the fresh air.

Although there is a cost into this park it was very relaxing and wonderful, offers some great picture opportunities with an array of colours to pick from.
