a looked after prehistoric site that had lots of interesting items including beautiful pottery. We had an audio guide that explained various things that were numbered. i hadnt really thought about ancient china until we visited this museum. worth a visit.

This is a prehistoric archaeological site so nothing exists above ground level. They help your imagination with a number of conjectured panoramas and pictures of the period. Lovely setting for the museum and an interesting local art and craft exhibition nearby.

Banpo culture existed 6700 years ago, and this place the part of the oldest chinese history! You will see the real "china" they made 6700 years ago! This is just amazing!!! At this place you will feel the ancient time of China.

This museum gives a strong historical context. It's an easy to navigate museum. It is good for individuals and families alike to walk through. The Banpo Museum shows the craftsmanship and resourcefulness of the indigenous people. Great!

Saw a lot of old bones, lol. Dig sites but very dark in there. Alot of people. No one to guide you through.
