Visited Dayan Pagoda on Sunday. Just a no. Of shops selling the usual touristy stuff but the area looks good in photographs. The fountain show was huge size wise but otherwise it is just another fountain performance. Easy to get to this place via subway line 3 .

The fountain's large and set with the Pagoda in the background and interesting for say 10 minutes but otherwise nothing amazing.

It is not a wow place, speciallly if you have visited other pagodas in China. However you can feel the Chinese culture. If you come to Xi'an, this is a great place to go. It is very easy to get there, as there is a metro station right in front of the square.

This huge park has fountains in the middle. in the evening there are colored lights and music, it looks like the water is "dancing" fountain, artistic and cool. don't miss it

Da Yanta, or the Big wild goose pagoda is a must place to visit in Xi'an. You can climb the tower, check out the dancing water display (seen one, you've seen them all), and dine at one of dozens of restaurants in the area. Lots of souvenir stalls as well. I've always just found it to have a pleasant atmosphere.... More

It is a huge music fountain and it feels great to run through it on a hot summer day! The park around it is really pleasant for a mid-afternoon walk, you can buy some souvenirs and fried food on a stick in the alley behind the mall.

We watched it on 8.30pm... the show was good and beautiful. Easy to access. a Lot of shop-lots nearby. Suggestion, go before dinner.

Around 8:30 PM, every night, a light and music show will take place in front of the Pagoda. It's very popular and crowded (and free). I recommend it if you want to do something after dinner :)

We went there after dinner, to discover that water show happened to stop for check. Unfortunate? No. The central stage had a music concert; the best was the light show from the north square - just spectacular! You can take fantastic photos of pagoda in the pool, with light beams all over the sky in patterns and movements. We walked... More
