Another must-see place if you are into local culture and architecture! We saw a short musical show as well which I found very interesting, especially the drums and other musical instruments they play

Interesting history and architecture, plus great views. They have performances on traditional Chinese instruments which is well worth seeing too. There's a small shop inside, too. Make sure you look up, there are details everywhere.

Good place to learn ancient Chinese history, cultural and architecture. There is a lot of shops and restaurant near by. A good place to visit before the end of day.

A place to go and visit when walking around the Muslim quarter. It is a gorgeous place at night. Light up is a dream! Goregeous pictures ! Easy to get there! Right in the middle of the city.

You can get much closer to the Drum Tower than the Bell Tower. Best to grap some local snacks or Lamb kabab at the Muslim street after visiting.

This was worth the visit. Don't bother with the Bell Tower though, as it was very disappointing after seeing the Drums.

The Drum Tower looks very beautiful in the night time as it was lightening well. Not worthy the money to climb up, look it from distance is much better.

The Drum Tower was built during the Ming dynasty and was used to indicate time in the ancient days. On the second level of the tower, we could see 24 drums which represent the 24 weather periods used by the ancient Chinese. When we visited the tower that time, there's a Chinese percussion performance on-going, which we stopped our steps... More

Both the Bell and Drum towers in Xi'an have great views during the day and at night. They also have performances you can see at different times during the day. A must-see easy sight. Traveled in March 2014.
