Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

simple layout museum, FREE! people in there dont speak much english, most exhibits are in translated in english, general history about Xianyang, mainly the effects of Buddha, location of the museum is pretty isolated, but its located in a very classic street where building/shops across it are the actual old building, must see if ur in xianyang. p/s:there's a lot of walking if ur on foot!

This is a nice compact museum worth visiting if in Xian, possibly on way to/from airport.
Admission is free, good historical narrative. There are shops nearby that you can browse.

Yes, this museum is a very mixed bag. It is quite off the beaten track, so a bit difficult to find. It is of the old style, a few old buildings around a courtyard, poor lighting and more or less no descriptions on what you are looking at. However, if you know a bit of chinese history, you´ll know that this is where Xi'an was located during several dynasties, not at it´s present further south location, hence some very significant finds are displayed here.

1st- Its FREE! This little gem is north of Xi'an in the suburb/town of Xianyang.
2- its not busy so you don't feel like cattle going through like many other popular attractions.
Its a great little museum if you want to see some terracotta soldiers up close. The cases are smaller so you really get to experience the details. It is also in a nice areas, there are some cool shops nearby and you get to experience more authentic culture. The grounds of the museum are lovely with many trees and even places to sit. It took us about 2 hours to meander through all the exhibits and we learned a lot.

28 Km far from the Xian,in a urban city, near the Weihe river. The museum per se is good, but the street that the museum is on it,is very beautiful. It absolutely deserve a short walk.
find incidentally in 1956, old Qin capital(350B.C),had many imperial building, just few of them excavated .Some important pieces bring to this museum.I really impressed with pottery well circle, and more than 3000 horses and warriors in small size.Unfortunately this place is not so famous ,although very important, it really deserve more visitors.
