A good place to relax and enjoy history. It gives a comprehensive background about the origins of Yunnan's railway and its development to the current High-speed railway of Yunnan. They also have displays of model trains in actual size. We spent about 1-2 hours here.

It is a fascinating view of the history and development of railways in China and especially Yunnan. I found it by accident and spent an absorbing day there. The highlight is the wonderful collection of old engines and carriages.

Everything is in Chinese and English, so you will not have any issue to understand the amazing railway development of china. You need to spend at least two hours and a half to enjoy and understand a lot Chinese history and way of thinking.
