The actual walking street doesn't start immediately at the East end of Hefang Street, so walk until you find the start. Once you hit the walking section there are multiple stalls and stores to look at and try your hand at bargaining. Good for filling in some time, or if you like to shop. Wear comfortable shoes.

This street was a pleasure to wander up & down & felt authentic of an "old" & the "bygone" days China Town. The shop frontages have kept their original heritage & deliver the tourist and traveler a good feeling for what China looked like centuries ago. Booths along the middle add interest, as the Chinese display their handicrafts of paper... More

Busy street as you would expect, but good for food and shopping. Not to far from metro station which makes it convenient to visit

An attractive area where the ancient shops have been refurbished and are being used to sell all sorts of goods. Beautiful architecture and nice ambiance especially at night.

Every evening during my trip in Hangzhou, I came here at Hefang Street to have my dinner. They have all sort of food stalls as well as souvenirs and they're all affordable. In some of the food stalls you need to top up 100RMB card in order to get foods and the remaining money will be refunded. I had a... More

A good street to walk down to buy cheap souvenirs and other interesting bits and pieces. There's people making Chinese peanut candy which is interesting to watch and very delicious! A few traditional medicine shops still exist here so if you're interested you can check them out. There's also shops selling tea. Not the highest quality (you'll find this at... More

We love the shopping here. Bought scarves, mini massagers and a lot of other knick knacks from Hefang Street. Good place to shop and dine as there are a lot of interesting shops and restaurants here. We ate at a couple of restaurants here and the food was good.

Hefang Street is very near the Nansong Yujie, is a very good place for shopping 🛒 and dinning. We have a nice dinner in the place and having fun too.
