Our guide, Iris, took us to this magnificent residence. The timeless elegance of the building, especially the carved window screens and use of blue glass , was very appealing, Highly recommended,

The architecture is stunning. But what impresses more is its garden with caves. It is a small but every corner of it is a photographic beauty. Wonderful bonsai trees deserve a special attention.

Spent about two hours at this residence. Was a bit of a maze but quite interesting to see a more traditional Chinese dwelling. Parking can be challenging.

Fascinating glimpse into the courtyard home of a former wealthy mansion. Just a short stroll from the HeFang old street, it is picturesque, and photogenic. Gorgeous Rick tunnels , central ponds, walkways, all in a walled setting.

This is a great attraction. House from the late 18th century and you can see how the wealthy lived. Nicely restored with a maze of different buildings and rooms. Beautiful gardens and furniture and 30 foot walls surrounding it. Really enjoyed.

This mansion isn't as old as it looks: it is from the Qing (aka Manchu) Dynasty and was built in the 19th Century. It is a very beautiful piece of architecture, however, and well worth visiting. There is a large pond with carp fish in...More
