My son and I biked through here on our ride around the lake. It's a beautiful section along Bei Shan Road, and part of the overall beauty of the bike ride.

We have again visited this tourist spot by late March this year knowing that the best months to view lotus flowers here should be in August. Nonetheless in Quyuanfenghe, the Friendly Garden was still full of visitors coming here to take photos on sakura trees....More

Do you like taking photos of gorgeous Lotus flowers, while enjoying a stroll in the nice Chinese garden? This is a must see when you are in Hangzhou. Make sure the season is right. August to mid September would be the best time to visit.

The huge garden is in it's best in summer when the lotus are blooming, but it is also packed with tourists. I started my day early at 5am for photography. It is enjoyable.
