The experience of getting out on the waters of West Lake is well worth the time & effort. A different perspective can be seen from the boat & the sights as the other boats go by & the scenery becomes clearer & closer leaving a lasting impression of Hanghzou. The fish can be seen and the lake can be fully... More

Only six and a half feet deep with a muddy two foot bottom this is not a swimming lake . None-of the less this lovely lake is why Hangzhou is Known as the Paradise City of China. Surrounding most of the city it has arched bridges rolling hills on three sides, temples and of course legend. We enjoyed our stroll... More

Part of west lake. It's not special as no fish there right now. Perhaps it looked great in ancient times?

Plenty of fish under the bridge, some trees or plants, and pavilions with interesting stories. Nothing else.

This was clearly a very beautiful place until a few years ago. You can still see the attractiveness of the site, but there's a thick haze on it now which gives it a dystopian feel.

One of the most visited places in the West Lake for the scenary you can see here. When you are on the bridge, a lot of fish are coming to welcome you!

The park is situated in the south-western part of West Lake, and is one of the "10 scenes of West Lake". In the centre of the park is a big pond with many fishes. When you try to feed them, they will swarm toward you and a few naughty fishes even jumped out of the water! The surrounding gardens are... More

It has a small nice garden and it is at one end of the famous beautiful Sudo dike. The whole dike was covered by the leaves and brunches of the tall trees planted along both sides of the only road on it. Sitting on the benches set on both sides of the road every few meters are great place, listening... More

It is a very large park on the lake in line with the view of some models of the ancient Chinese to build a 20-minute drive from the Sofitel Hotel. Enter the park from the gate by a car Colv, then line out until it reaches the picturesque garden gate entrance ticket price paid too little less than 100 yuan,... More
