Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Will not suggest tourist who goes by their own during winter. Roadway was covered with huge snow and no one cleaned up the way. But me and my family still tried to make our way up through the huge snow, scenery was spectacular when we walked up there. It's a small park up a hill, will be a great place to have a small walk and enjoy the scenery.

Hot spot for the local to see the night view. On the top of Asahiyama, so you will need to have a car to get up there. Not a huge spot to go so only need like an hour.

It was really a great view from up here. However we went here during the winter so we could not climb the steps going up as it was not advisable to because the place was covered in snow. But it was worth the trip to go here. We saw some families here bringing up their sleds.
I would like to go back here during the fall or during spring as they had advised or on February for the snow festival.

This is a simple on the hill observation square to the south-west of Sapporo station on the outskirts of Sapporo.
We came here after dinner. It was a bit chilly, but we braced the cold for a while to partake the night scenery, and the winds.
It's a very romantic place, nice for a night out.

This is a lovely park at the top of a mountain/large hill that is just on the outskirst of the downtown area of Sapporo. It gives a lovely (and free) view of the city - would recommend going at night. It is a really lovely view. There is a fountain that sets a great foreground shot. If you are going to maruyama (where the zoo is and another famous park) - this is a must as it is right next door.

I was brought here by a local friend for the children to play at the fountain. It offers an amazing view of Sapporo and to walk and enjoy nature around the area. We did not walk very far as we have young children but the fountain and the ice cream were sufficient to keep us happy!

The view is OK, but not great. The paths are not clear of snow even in March, so you are not able to take a walk everywhere in the park. Probably OK in the summertime, but not in March.
