This is a simple on the hill observation square to the south-west of Sapporo station on the outskirts of Sapporo. We came here after dinner. It was a bit chilly, but we braced the cold for a while to partake the night scenery, and the winds. It's a very romantic place, nice for a night out.

This is a lovely park at the top of a mountain/large hill that is just on the outskirst of the downtown area of Sapporo. It gives a lovely (and free) view of the city - would recommend going at night. It is a really lovely view. There is a fountain that sets a great foreground shot. If you are going to maruyama (where the zoo is and another famous park) - this is a must as it is right next door.
