I enjoyed my walk up this windy mountain road. It was very cold and I enjoyed the chair lift to the top of the ski jump hill. A good couple of hours to spend in my few days in Sapporo.

My cousin and I took our families to the Ski Jump stadium and it is a great place to visit if you are in Sapporo. The view from the Okurayama viewing deck was great and there is a small cafe there as well.

One of the "must do" tourist attractions in Sapporo. Take the ski lift to the top for a broad view over Sapporo and on clear days also Ishikari bay. Even in summer, jump practice is pretty common (think water skiing on a special surface). It...More
