We were picked up by private Sky Bus from our Sapporo Hotel, which was so easy and really the best way to travel to Niseko, being dropped off at the front door in Hirafu.
Our driver was fantastic and fitted everything in with ease, even our Costco Shopping.
Were were staying in Niseko for 6 weeks so we had been to Costco, to stock up.
Unfortunately the Sky Bus company wasn’t prepared to collect us from Costco on the out skirts of Sapporo, so needed to travel back into Sapporo city to meet the Sky Bus at the hotel.
We we’re happy to pay extra for this service but The
Sky Bus company weren’t happy to
accommodate, our request.
Apart from that our travel was fast, efficient and a good alternative to the Niseko White Liner.
Our driver was fantastic and fitted everything in with ease, even our Costco Shopping.

If you want to save time especially on your first visit or in a group, it makes perfect sense to get full service transfers that include meet and greet at airports and hotel lobbies.

We signed up for 2 SkyExpress trips: first from Chitose to Niseko and the second back to Chitose from Rusutsu. They were there and ready for us on time. Perfectly polite, safe drivers. Reasonably priced as best I could tell.
What made the real difference in my mind was our initial meeting. Our group was split into two, first arriving domestic at noon and the second arriving international at 14h. I was part of the domestic group and really surprised to see my name on a board when we exited customs. I was surprised because we only mentioned this earlier arrival as incidental information on the booking form; never expected them to be there until the final passenger had arrived.
But no, SkyExpress was waiting for us as we exited customs. A very nice young woman welcomed us, knew we would be waiting to meet an international arrival in two hours, and was there to help point us along the way. She showed us how to get between terminals, where we could grab a bite to eat, and gave us the details we would need for meeting up in a couple of hours for the trip to Niseko.
That little bit of extra help made a big difference to me. Thanks!!!

Travelled in December with a family including kids requiring a child safety seat. Explicitly sent a number of emails to ensure that this would be provided, and of course it didn’t happen.
This was a major negative in my view given the time of year we were traveling and the road conditions.
Driver himself was very pleasant, probably not his fault, vehicle itself was fine as was the actual driving.
Sort out the lack of child safety seats please.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this valuable feedback about your recent experience with SkyExpress. We apologise for any inconvenience caused in not being able to provide the child seat this time. While not required under bus and taxi laws, we do our best to meet all requests for complimentary baby and child seats but unfortunately cannot always guarantee availability as occasionally vehicle and driver assignment may change on the day due to flight delays and other factors. We have been working on ways to overcome this recently though, and have met all requests this past month.
We hope you will choose to travel with SkyExpress again on your next visit to Hokkaido.

book a service to go to Chitose airport at 5am in morning, but the driver never turned up and no call was received by me nor any attempt to of any contact to the hotel desk. I had to make alternative arrangements last minute in a mad rush. Upon return, will enquired, the company says the driver had turned up in another hotel and worst, i have yet to receive a refund after 6 weeks.

Thank you for your email and feedback. For you transfer, we had to use one of our partner companies due to the timing and location of the pick up. At some point there was an error regarding the exact pick up location, which we entirely take responsibility for. Although we did process your refund immediately it does appear it was initially rejected by the credit card company. We have reprocessed it and if you have any trouble receiving it please do not hesitate to contact us.

This company declined our booking, even though it was made three months previously, the night before a required transfer from New Chitose to Niseko Hilton. They then tried to blame the booking agency, even though money had been transferred to them and they had other buses conducting operations that day. This resulted in us being out of pocket to the tune of $1000 because we needed to have hotel accommodation at Chitose that night rather than at the ski field. The aggravation caused also affected the start of what was a great family holiday with 4 families being put out. Even after we cancelled our return transfer they sent an email saying they were unable to conduct the transfer for us. Do not use.

Thank you for contacting us both on TripAdvisor and also through our other channels.
As our team discussed on the phone, we are very sorry for the confusion on your booking. We received the booking request through Expedia and immediately asked them to confirm various details, including the number of guests, so we could make the booking. We did not receive that information and so we never confirmed the booking with Expedia because until we know the number of guests travelling we cannot provide the service.
It appears that Expedia did not contact you to let you know the booking was not confirmed, which is out of our control. We also never received any income from Expedia for this booking. As discussed, as soon as it came to light we contacted Expedia to ensure they refunded your money, which they have now done.
I understand that the team were able to suggest a range of options for your transfer such as private taxi or train but unfortunately we ourselves were fully booked and unable to help you at that time.
As a direct result of your experience, we have now removed our services from Expedia as we cannot trust their process. I realise this does not change your own experience and once again, we wholeheartedly apologise that it had a negative impact on the start of your holiday. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of your time in Niseko.
I do hope you will give us the chance to show our service quality to you in the future, in which case please do book directly either online or through our booking team.
I hope you and your family and friends do visit Niseko again and wish you all the best for 2018.

We've used SkyExpress for group travel to and fro CTS and Niseko now since 2014. Service has been by far a bit sketchy.
Pros:
- They are easy to book.
- They are on time. The driver has always been waiting for us at the appointed time and location.
- They get you from point A to B in a shorter amount of time than the buses.
- They bypass the welcome centre, bringing you directly to your accommodation.
- They can be only a tad more expensive than the buses if you've got the right number of people for the right skybus.
- They offer a 1 hr stop off at the supermarket in Kutchan for an additional cost, which may be useful for some.
- They allow a drop off at the Air Terminal Hotel in CTS, which is kinda nice if you're headed that way.
Cons:
- They are horribly inflexible. We have, like many reviewers here, suffered a late flight, and there was absolutely no way they would wait/ refund our booking, even though we alerted them 3 hrs before pickup. Luckily, we managed to get seats on one of the ski shuttle buses, which made for hasslefree transport, but extra money was spent, and the skybus fare was still lost.
- For what it's worth, the skybus 15 seater mini coaches are actually more uncomfortable than the the ski shuttle buses, and there have been occasions when we worry that there won't be enough space for people and luggage, and that's with us travelling with minimal equipment.
Would we use them again? Probably, only because we travel with a bunch of children and just want to get from point A to B in the shortest amount of time. We would also use the skybus in March when unpredictable weather is less likely.... but, the private ski shuttle buses do offer much better value and allowance for both luggage and delayed flights.

Thank you for your review. As you may have noticed, we have taken over the old Skybus company this year and rebranded as SkyExpress. Our commitment is to provide great service and safe transfers for our guests.
We monitor flights and wherever possible we adjust our schedule to meet guests. Particularly at busy times this can be very difficult of course, but we will make sure we meet guests and get them to their destination somehow even in the case of extreme events or weather.
We look forward to serving you again on the new SkyExpress coaches which we have purchased this year.

We were booked on Sky Express for a private transfer between New Chitose to Skye Niseko and back to New Chitose 5 days later. Boht the trips were pleasant. Both drivers were on time and helped with our baggages. Both drove with great care and enjoyed the 2.5 hours transfer each way. Highly recommended and will definitely use Sky Express again on the next trip.

We recently used SkyExpress as recommended by our hotel in Niseko for transport from Chitose to Rusutsu, Rusutsu to Niseko, and finally Niseko back to Chitose. Our experience from beginning to end was a definite 10/10. Initial booking via their website was easy, and last minute amendments to booking times via email was easily arranged. Our English speaking meet and greet at the airport was excellent and the vehicles were comfortable and spacious (plenty of space for 5 people and 5 ski bags + luggage in the 8 seater van). Our drivers were on time, courteous, friendly and safe, and on our final leg we even managed a quick stop to admire the view and take some family photos by Lake Shikotsu. Super impressed with the quality of service and we will definitely use and recommend their service for anyone skiing in Hokkaido.

My name is Kronnaphat Khumvongsa. I live in Nagoya and will have a trip in Hokkaido next week. I have tried to book the transfer from Noboribetsu (Takimoto Inn Hotel) to Jozankei Onsen (Manseikaku Millione Hotel) via the website. The departure date is 18 October 2020 (Sunday), and the departure time is 8:30 AM. There are 3 steps to book on the website (1. get a quote 2. Add reservation and 3. create order). I have put all the required data in step 2, but the website seemed to be an error and turned back to step 1 every time. So I cannot go to step 3. Could you please fix this error on the website? Or could you please reserve it for me.
