This is a must visit place in my opinion. Very surreal and some of the exhibits are quite confronting. We spent a couple of hours here and walking around the memorial which is amazing too. In fact Hiroshima is a very pretty city compared to others we have seen.

An eye opening experience. besides to explain about the bomb they also have an exhibition with personal items from the victims, some who where never found, there is little inscriptions where you can learn the story of each person who those items belonged and see the testimonials of survivors on your way out. there are also boos for sale with... The museum is an absolute must do. It has been put together so well and leaves the visitors in awe of the magnitude of destruction that was caused. It's difficult to describe how moving the museum is, it's something which just had to be experienced.

I learned a ton from this museum. Really changed my perspective on a lot of things. Crazy to see all the damage that was caused. It makes sense, but you have to see all of it in person. Must visit in Hiroshima.

You can't review this place. Go, pay your respects, have your own experience. Then take an afternoon to reflect one what you've seen.

I took my family to the Hiroshima Peace Park and museum. It was an amazing and humbling experience. The park and museum is a wonderful memorial to the people who suffered so much regardless of your viewpoint. Please prepare your children before you view the museum. My wife and I had many open and frank discussion about the war and... More

We came just for the day by bullet train from Kyoto. It is a very serene and peaceful spot with so many tributes to those who lost their lives here. It's hard not to get upset as the stories of the lives lost are so heart wrenching . I just had to come here as it is I had heard... More

It is located within the Memorial Park so fairly easy to find. Definitely worth a stop to see what happened during and after the nuclear blast. There were options for an audio guide but we just went without it and just looked at the displays there. Most things were in English so easy to understand what was being displayed. A... More

This was a very depressing and sobering experience, however one I am very glad I had. Very cheap entry which shows just how much the Japanese want to educate us all about this horrific moment in their history. Volunteers were very informative.
