Previously used to be an island to store chemical and bio weapons, now turned into rabbit island! You will be able to buy rabbit food from pier and only the pier. (Remember to return the bag to the pier after feeding the rabbits, and you will get a free postcard!) The rabbits are friendly, and I do suggest to keep some food for the rabbits deeper into the island where people rarely visit. To hike around the entire island takes about 1-1.5hrs on a 35C summer day. Sea view along the way and many war attractions along the way. Highly recommend a one day trip there or to stay over night if decide to take your time to explore the island. Only a few restaurants located at the resort, which required a 15 min walk from pier.

It has an interesting story to tell which is unique to that village and the artist. Small town, very friendly and has a nice hike up to the pagoda if you want same great pictures of the islands.

The normally calm Bisan Seto

It was a clear, sunny midsummer day, and the waves were calm from what I could see. There are many islands between the Seto Inland Strait and the Bisan Strait, and you can see them whenever you look east or west from the Great Seto Bridge. It also seems to be an important shipping route, and I could see large ships passing through.
