The night view is great, plenty of shops and restaurants. Reasonable price, less busy than Osaka but busy enough to spend a day. Plenty of public transport back to Umeda for us. Last train was 12:30

Wonderful place to visit in Kobe. Lots of things to do and tons of restaurants. The place gets cold in the night during winter.

It only takes about 3 hours on the JR Shinkansen train from Tokyo to Kobe City. Kobe is a port city and no visit is complete without a trip out on one of the many boats that will take you around the Harborland. The sites...More
