Chinatown in Kobe is a good place for people Om a limited budget in Kobe to eat inexpensively ,the majority of the street food in Kobe can be found around sannomiya station but this Chinatown is very clean as is the majority of thing in japan

Amazing to see a Chinatown in Japan! The street is lined up with stalls and restaurants that serve some decent Chinese snacks and even cuisines.

Small short area and didn't look interesting at all. Prices also don't look cheap. Frankly I think we finished walking the street in 15 minutes.

Kobe Chinatown is comparably small. This is an old part of town. Walking through the main area .... there are lots food stalls on both sides of the way. Traditional Chinese lanterns beautifully lighted up this place. There were a number of small and medium sized restaurants and some are dated. Kobe beef menu will cost you more.

Take the JR train from Sanomiya Station to Motomachi Station and head south; Nankinmachi is about 250 meters away. The collection of eating outlets serving Chinese and Japanese cuisines, the various others selling small bites that you can take with you as you walk along exploring the street. Whilst Its the smaller Cousin to Chukogai in Yokohama, it nevertheless still... More

There is really nothing special about this place. A short street with some Chinese restaurants. Nothing much that I can talk about. Located about 3 minutes walk from the train station, if you happened to pass-by, intend to take a look, thats fine. No real need to make a special trip here.

Really characteristic and interesting neighbor in Kobe. One of the only three Chinatown in Japan, and the smallest compared to the one in Yokohama and Nagasaki, but really enjoyable to visit. Recommended.
