A bridge over the Dojima River. To the south is the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, and to the north is Tako no Matsu. It's not a particularly popular tourist spot, but the view of the river from the bridge is beautiful.

京都なら解説文付きの歴史ある橋として観光客が来ていいような橋ですが、絶妙といいますか、なにわ筋と四ツ橋筋の間のかゆい部分に架かっていて使う人は結構使う橋となっています。近くには朝日放送や市立科学館などがあり、夕方から夜はこの橋を渡りつつ、川沿いを歩くだけでも楽しいです。

堂島川にかかる橋で、この川にかかる橋のなかでは、かなり平凡な見た目の橋だと思います(他の橋が立派すぎるだけですが)。けれども、この橋から見える中之島周辺の高層ビル街はとても綺麗です。

堂島川に架かる鉄筋コンクリートの橋です。中之島に渡ると美術館や博物館など文化エリアは目の前です。北詰には「蛸の松」（復元した史跡ですが）も有ります。

堂島川周辺のウォーターフロントは最近注目されているスポットだそうです。ミナミ周辺とは又違った大阪の魅力を感じる場所です。この橋の所々に写真撮影用に設置されたような場所があります。

ちょっとそこまで、「田蓑橋」ヘ ！ ここは大阪中之島で緑が多く堂島川と安治川に挟まれたことです。この田蓑橋はその北側に架かる橋で、堂島開発に伴い1693年に木造の橋が架けられたのが最初のようです。名前は難波八十島のひとつである田蓑島からとっているとの話も？ 田蓑橋北詰にある見どころの「蛸の松」から南下し

大阪市北区堂島3丁目と中之島3丁目を結ぶ川です。 北側に史跡蛸の松があります。橋は近隣の橋に比べると、柱が低く、歩道には景色が眺められる半円形の出っ張り部分があったり、昔ながらの橋という感じがしました。

中之島の美術館や科学館のエリアに最も近い堂島川にかかる橋が田蓑橋です。橋の北西側には再現された蛸の松があります。蛸の松が広島藩の蔵屋敷にあったもので、現在の場所ではなく田蓑橋の南西側にありました。

堂島3丁目と中之島3丁目を結び堂島川に架かる橋。一つ上流に渡辺橋があり下流の玉江橋の間です。江戸元禄時代に堂島開発の為造られた橋で歴史もあり、橋名は難波八十八島の田簑島に由来するそうです。周辺の堂島は江戸時代から経済の中心地として各藩の蔵屋敷があり今もその時代の名残が各所にあります。中之島に架かる22橋を見て回るのも楽しいものです。

現在の橋は昭和３９年のものですが、丸いずんぐりむっくりした親柱はそれ以前に造られた橋のものを使用していると思われます。メモリアル的に残したのでしょうね。
