住吉が見れたとか。

なぜ南堀江に住吉なのか、と、思ったら本当に住吉区と関係があって、この橋から南を見ると住吉の高燈篭が見ることができたことからこの名前なのだとか。今は...多分見えません..。大野記念病院の前の橋というとわかりやすいかもしれません。タクシーなど、細いわりに車も人もよく通るバイパス的橋なのかもしれません。

まあ普通です

道頓堀川の西エリアを川沿いに散策していて寄りました。何本も道頓堀川にかかっている橋の一つで、浮庭橋の西にあります。浮庭橋が複合施設の一部のような感じでおしゃれ感もあったのに比べてこちらはごくごく普通で観光スポットとは呼べないかな。

単なる道頓堀に架かっている橋なのでお勧めすることは有りません。生活の為の小さな橋です。すこしピンク色になっています。

ちょっとそこまで、住吉橋ヘ！

大阪市は時代と共に埋め立て整備されましたが、この堀江付近は1700年頃に開発されたようです。住吉橋は、道頓堀川に架けられた四つの橋（住吉橋、幸橋、汐見橋、日吉橋）のひとつとされています。
普通の生活道路って感じで車両が行き来する橋ですが歩行路もありますので安心です。

ごく普通の橋です

こんな橋もあったのかとたまたま見つけました。この橋も道頓堀川にかかっています。
古くて、でもそのままの状態というかんじでした。車も人もあまりいなさそうでした。地元の人には便利なのかなと思いました。

地味な橋やね

四つ橋筋となにわ筋に挟まれて、今ではなんばハッチから伸びる浮庭橋が隣にあるので地味な印象。
車も人もちょっと少ないけど堀江に行くには便利やね。

建設は大正時代

橋自体は大正時代のもので、橋脚などはちょっと凝ったデザインになっていますが、欄干や親柱は改修されたのでしょうか、これといった特徴のあるものではありませんでした。交通量や通行人もそれほどは多くはありませんでした。

道頓堀川に架かるごく普通の道路橋

歴史ある橋のようですが、現在は道頓堀川に架かるごく普通の道路橋となっていました。車道の幅は広くないものの両側には歩道も取り付けられていました。外観上の特徴も少なく、気付かずに通り過ぎてしまいそうでした。
