靭公園メイン広場の真ん中に。

世界バラ会議が2006年にありましたよと、今に伝える碑です。この時はメインのバラの広場より、四ツ橋筋側の桜が咲き誇っていて珍しくこちらの広場より桜のある四ツ橋筋側に、観客を持っていかれていましたが靭公園は休日を中心にいつも賑わっています。

靭公園

靭公園内に記念碑が立っていました。バラ園となっている一角に欧州の古城風ミニチュア田ありその手前にパネルが設置されていました。2006年5月に大阪市で開催された "世界バラ会議大阪大会2006"を顕彰するものでした。

妖精が出てきそうな「お庭」♪

靱公園東園のバラ園の真ん中くらいの場所にありました。その横には、本の一頁にUｔｓｕｂｏ　Ｒｏｓｅ　Ｇａｒｄｅｎとお洒落に書かれた花壇があります。妖精が出てきそうな「お庭」ですね。

この世界バラ会議大阪大会2006を記念する碑はパッと見ては記念碑と分かる人はいないと思います。バラの時期に訪れた際はバラに夢中で気が付かないです。観光資源としてはイマイチ

大阪大会の碑

世界バラ会議は3年に１回開催される国際大会です。2006年に大阪で開催され、その記念碑が靭公園(大阪地下鉄本町駅から徒歩5分）のバラ園の中ほどにあります。6月中旬に訪れたので、バラの花は、散り始めていました。ミニガーデンがありなかなかgoodな碑です。
