I visited this shrine as it was near my hotel. I walked from Kuromon Market, to Namba Parks, and to Namba Yasaka Shrine. The shrine is in a residential district and has few visitors on the day I was there. I would say a 10min stay here would be sufficient. If you are staying in the Namba area, it is... More

There's not a whole heap to see here....the Lions Head Stage is the highlight.....but it is a sanctuary in the city nonetheless. We only spent about 10 minutes here and there was only one other family here at the time.....worth a look if you're in the area!

I came to view the lion head stage. It was pretty neat and the grounds of the shrine are small. It is located in the middle of a neighborhood and hard to find. I went on a wild goose chase looking for this place thanks to Google Maps that listed it in tbe wrong area. I was able to find... More

A beautiful little temple on one of the back streets close to Namba. The stage that is made inside a demons mouth is large and impressive. To the side of the scene there is a small temple. I don't think it's worth any larger detour because it's still rather small and it takes about 5-10 min to see everything interesting... More

Came here on a quiet weekday. There wasn't many people and we had the lion all to ourselves. Basically an interesting shrine which you shouldn't be spending more than a 15-min tour around this place, including prayers and all. It's not very interesting around the area so unless you have time to spare, just enjoy the pictures uploaded around the... More

This temple has character. I admire the temples in Kyoto because they all has the zen feeling. But this one is located in Osaka, in the middle of the city, and even there is no 'zen' feeling, it definitely has it's own charm. Recommended to visit if you pass by the are, because it's free anyway.

This temple is hidden within the neighbourhood, and its alright. When I was there, there was no one there, and the only thing worth seeing is the lion which is pretty cool. Otherwise thats literally it for this temple Go if you have some time to spare

This temple is located in Namba and basically is two buildings. The head and another building. Thats it. Not worth the 10 minute walk since its nothing to do other than to take on picture of the head.
