After alighting at Universal City JR station, you walk at the city walk before you arrive at the Universal Studios in Osaka. The walk has some large 5 starred hotels and shops where you can purchase souvenirs and other necessities nearby. A Lawsons shop can be found in between the walk. It provides water at normal Japan prices. This is... More

This is incredibly conveniently located around the other Universal Studios Japan properties. The train stop is there, and there is a huge variety of food choices that it's almost overwhelming trying to find a place to eat! 3 Lawsons are there if you need a convenience store, as well as an Edion to satisfy your tech/electronics needs. There's really not... More

Just outside the park's gates(universal studios japan) is Universal Citywalk Osaka, a shopping mall with multiple official Universal hotels and many restaurants and shops, including stores selling Universal Studios merchandise and Osaka souvenirs. Furthermore, the Osaka Takoyaki Museum, which is essentially a collection of several popular vendors of the local dish gathered under one roof, is located on the mall's... More

We stayed at a hotel in the Universal City Walk Osaka area and walked through it multiple times. It is between USJ and the train. It is filled with restaurants and shopping.

As re-entry is not possible at Universal Studios, this place is definitely a must go before and after visiting Universal Studios. Plenty of restaurants with nice food and reasonable price can be located here.

I went there before dinner after a day in town looking for something alternative. The place itself is a break from a local culture and typically American. If you have been to the Universal Studios in the States then you will have a nice walk down memory lane. Nice shops and restaurants. Definitely a must even if you are not... More

Just outside Universal City, it's a great place to get some food. There are plenty of western style restaurants, fast food outlets, the Takoyaki Museum & the Hard Rock Cafe Osaka Universal.

We visited this place during our last summer holiday in June 2016. This place is good for eating. There are many choices of restaurants. Some restaurants offer Vegetarian Menu and Children Menu too! Price for the food is reasonable. There are also shops such as GAP outlet, Stationary shop, Claires, Little Osaka where you could find osaka souvenirs. If you... More
