It's like your local markets however, you can purchase raw products to which the people cook for you. If you're allergic to beef or seafood like myself....unfortunately there isn't much choice for you as these are the popular meat products in Japan, however you can always visit just for the experience as I still had an amazing time

The location is good, easy to assess. My hotel was just a street behind. And we hv been there twice in 2days. There are numbers of stores selling Japanese local fruits, groceries and most specifically seafood. We tried a store in the middle of the market selling sashimi, sushi, abalone. Food is yum and fresh. We also brought lots of... More

Beat the crowd and head down early! A lot of local food - seafood and snacks. Best place to try out their Uni, Oysters and Tuna.

This is the 4th time we have been to Kuromon Market, and we always come back for more. Contrary to some of the review I have read, we found the food here to be very cheap. The Sashimi and Sushi here on food stalls are cheaper than what you will find in the restaurant, and much fresher ! You will... More

Kuromon Market is not very big and the food price are expensive but it is locate next to the Namba district, very convenience and easy to go. It only takes 10mins from Namba station to there. Grilled kobe beef are expensive but sushi are fresh and size are big, which is USD15-30 per box. Highly recommend and it is a... More

I'm overwhelmed by the amount and varieties of high quality food available here. Snow crab, Kobe Beef, O-Torro , giant scallops. It's all available here and all so fresh. This is a must visit in OSAKA Esp if you love good food like me !!!

Food here, especially the cooked ones are overpriced and not very good at all. Being a market, fresh sashimi is the highlight, but even those are a little suspect, especially when compared to Tsukiji in Tokyo.

A small market with lots of tourist lining up for supermarket sashimi and sushi. Wonder why tourist would waste time there.
