Rooftop at nighttime

Arrive at Umeda building rooftop for the best scenery. 360' observations with night light of Osaka city is the most satisfying view.

Hard Rock Cafe at Osaka. Beside university studio. Nice atmosphere. Good good. Good service. I celebrated my birthday there. They even gave me a glass cup as parent.

...was really exciting. The elevator and escalator rises was very cool. The place was virtually empty. Nice photo opportunities on the 39th floor if you are on a budget and don't want to pay the 1000 yen fee to go up to the floating garden. The nearest stop on the metro is Osaka station, and it's about 10 minutes walk.... More

Went here at about 10am just after opening and was treated to a spectacular view of Osaka. Amazing seeing a city so dense and large from above. Go early to miss the rush as apparently this place is crazily busy around sunset

This place is not to be missed as it provides fantastic views of the whole city of Osaka and beyond. Entry fee can be part of your subway ticket that you can get from the train station manager. Worthy of a visit.

The night view is spectacular but the architecture is not only a feat but ingenious. As it was an autumn night, it was very windy and chilly. Its very crowded but orderly as only a certain number of people are allowed to go up at any one time.

Went to the Kuchu Teien Observatory at night and saw all the city lights. The heart locks and picture spot are very interesting. You can sit indoors or outdoors and enjoy the view.

This building gives you a great view of the area. You get some real perspective of the scale of the city and the modern setting of the viewing platforms are great. The observatory is above a huge department store shopping centre so that itself is a good destination in itself.

GoogleMaps guided us on our walk from the Namba station to get to this Floating Garden tower. We entered for free using our one-day Osaka Amazing Pass. The tip from other Trip Advisors to go before sunset is a good one. We first waited in the highest indoor level (cafe level) to watch the sunset and see Osaka lighting up.... More

The view is very nice, particularly in the evening. The experience of taking the escalator to the last level is really something.
