Abeno Harukas 300 is the tallest building in Japan above Kintetsu Abenobashi Station. With 62 floors that offer a variety of places. Osaka Mariyot Hotel, Kintetsu Main Store at main building and wings building which is become Japan's largest department store. Abeno Harukas Art Museum and Rooftop Garden on 16th floors.
The most popular spot is the Harukas 300 Observatory deck. Its occupied floors 58th - 60th. We need to take elevators to the 16th floors. The elevator will take from 16th floor to 60 th floors in 45 second. Ticket fee is 1500 yen bit expensive. Extra ticket ¥ 500 for open air heliport at the top of the building.
Best time view after sunset or in the night where we can see the lights of Osaka city. Kansai Airport Airport can be seen from here. I prefer to enjoy the view through the rooftop garden, feel more calmer, cool with plants, open air and free to enter.

Try out the 17th floor instead of the top. There is an open air garden, a very reasonable priced cafe, and the view is free!

Abeno Harukas is a great place to shop and eat, it is currently tallest building in Osaka too! The basement supermarket got a great variety choice of Japanese and Western Style snacks, sweets, cakes and ice-cream! If you are looking for some souvenirs to bring home, this is a good place to get it too. less crowd than downtown area, more choices than in the airport.
Don't miss the SUPER dining street at 12/F, 13/F and 14/F too! You can find all traditional restaurant here and of coz the new ones. It said it is the largest food court in Kansai area.
I tried a few of them and it is generally cheaper than Umeda, Namba, less people and if you are lucky, you can eat with a great view over the whole city for under 2000YEN!
Oh! there is tax free counter, tourist centre in the building too.

We recently visited Osaka and I noticed this particular building on the Universal Studios Map Flyer - ( an Advertisement ) - as we had originally planned to visit the Umeda Sky Building. We had limited time on our last day in Osaka and this building was on the same train line down from Osaka Castle and I had a quick read about this building and reviews on TA - plus being the current tallest building in Japan - (considering Earthquakes etc ) - Im very glad that we made the choice and felt very safe and sure about its design and construction. It was a very clear April day and we took the elevator ( which has a clear open window ) to the 16th Floor - which is free and has a great viewing area. You have to pay to get to the " Harukas 300 Observatory " - which IS worth the fee. The Elevator up to the observatory has a half open glass ceiling - which has a spectacular light show with music - on the way up to the Observatory Entrance Floor on the 58th Floor. On exit from the elevator - you are immediately confronted with Floor to Ceiling windows and the most incredible views of Osaka - with full 360 access. There is a Tallest building comparison information board and random information printed on the windows ( North, South, East and West ) - with points of interest and key references - plus We could see all the way to Kyoto. Even a visit to the toilets was equally enthralling - as the views and glass panels continue throughout the entire observatory floors. The open air observation deck and lounge areas are very nice and it was very pleasant to get some fresh air ( at 300 metres ) above the ground. Food & Drinks are available as well. We observed a helicopter that was flying past ( at our eye level ) - so we were pretty high up. * Overall - I am very glad that we made the decision to visit this modern and unique building - plus the fee to pay to visit was well worth it. The advice on TA was spot on. - An Excellent Building and Highly Recommended - A Must Do! - when you are in Osaka.

Its location is very good; in Tennoji on Midosuji line. There is an airport bus beside it and JR station where you can take Haruka train to the airport is very near. It's just a few minutes by subway from Namba and 15 minutes from Umeda. Being the tallest building in Japan it offers best view of Osaka. There is Marriott hotel in which offers nice views, too. There is a departmet store Kintetsu with many brand stores as well as wonderful food basement at lower floors of Harukas. There are many good restaurants but if you are on budget, you can buy good sushi at the fish market in basemant or many salads and other food in food department. They have also great fruits and vegetables. There are some other buildings with many shops around and it. If you are interested in Korea town or interesting Korean and fish market in Tsuruhashi, you take JR train across the street. All is connected with underground streets so it is a wonderful place for shopping in rainy days. I go for shopping at least twice a week and it's my favourite place for shopping in Osaka.

After visiting Nara in the morning, my family and I went to Abeno Harukas to visit the Observation Deck and look out on Osaka. We took the Kintetsu Nara Line from Nara to Tsuruhashi Station, transferred to the Osaka Lopp Line and jumped off at Tennoji Station. The hookup was fast and painless, as the Osaka rail system is so efficient.
The adnission to the deck was about 1500y oer person, which is reasonable. The views were truly outstanding as you walk around the deck. I could see the ocean on one side, Shitennoji Temple down below, the zoo and Shinsaibashi close by. One does not realize the size of Osaka until you gaze out over the horizon from this venue. Real cool and complex.
We stopped for an ice cream sundae at one of the vendors and sat by the window and gazed at the sights. A good way to relax in the afternoon.

You can go all the way up to the 60th floor by purchasing a ticket (I didn't), but the Sky Garden on the 16th floor is free and still has some great views. It's a neat place to sit back, chill out and relax in the summer. The locals seem to like to hang out here too.

With a grand open at 7th April 2014, Abeno Harukas is a new constructed tourist spot honored the highest shopping mall in Japan. It is also a one step living plaza with restaurants, shopping levels, hotel and observation deck floors.
Located above metro and JR Tennoji station is convenient to reach by train or drive.
I have picked lots of souvenirs from the bottom market floor. The cakes and desserts are really attractive and worth to try!
The sales are nice and information is helpful. You can also find free WIFI in the whole building. A great place to spend up to a day!

The observatory deck is on the 58th floor. If you want to see the building for free , go to the 16th floor there is a free deck with very good views as well.

We stayed at the Marriott Miyako and made this our dining choice. There are so many restaurants here on the 14th - 12th floors. We tried about 6 of them. They were all good. the department store is also excellent.

Hi, we have already purchased USJ tickets online and were intending to purchase the VIP Wistband and 300 tickets together however although this was available to purchase separately when I bought the USJ tickets, KLOOK and similar providers are now only selling the VIP Wristbands and Harukas 300 tickets together with the USJ entry ticket. I have have contacted them and they advised to purchase a Harukas 300 ticket and enquire when we visit whether we can buy the VIP wristbands. I was hoping to find out if that is possible before we travel.
My question is, are we able to purchase VIP wristbands directly from the Harukas 300 when we visit or is it an online only thing. We would be disappointed to miss out on the early entry and an able to visit Harukas 300 four days before ours USJ visit if that would help as I assume they only sell a certain amount for each day.
We will be buying express passes too but wanted the early start to get a couple of rides in quickly.

Hi, i don't think you can buy an individual VIP wristband for USJ in Harukas 300. I think this is more like an occasional package deal. either it was sold in one package with Harukas 300 or in one package with USJ entrance ticket. current deal i check with Klook is as you said, they offered USJ entrance ticket together with the VIP 15mins early entrance to USJ. the package deal is no longer the same with the one i bought. if you want to visit Harukas 300, you might want to check whether the osaka amazing pass or other passes included this place.
