Skip taxis, this baby is so easy. Buy passes and travel like a local. Easy to read signs, announcements in cars in English, and always help at main terminals.

Metro is reliable and easy to use. People don´t push and let alight all passangers before entering the train. Even in rush hours it was still OK to go the with pram. Elevators are quite small, not all of the exits provide escalators or elevators.

Great system that took us to all the places we wanted to visit. The trains aren't as regular as Tokyo, but it never felt we where waiting too long for a train.

It gets you everywhere by connecting with the train network. Save your time reading the complicated network map by buying the minimum fare and do the fare adjustment at the exit. Or you may buy a IC card and preload money to it. Definitely use...More

The train stations may look confusing, but after studying the map and understanding how the trains connect, it is not that difficult after all. Signages were sufficiently put up and looks pretty clear if one understands English and chinese. The waiting time for trains is...More

Hi Maria, Not sure if there is a pass for just the subway, but we bought an Osaka amazing pass which covers all the subway lines & most attractions. 1 day pass 2,500¥, 2 day pass 3,300¥.
