The eery photos you have seen online of the empty rooms, playground, classrooms and all the abandond stuff laying all over the place are the things you will miss. On this tour you will also miss out walking in between the building to get the feeling you are on an island that has long been left for what it is.... More

The trip is very expensive compared to other activities in Japan. The boat trip takes about 1 1/2 hour and the trip to the island about half an hour. Only japanese speaking guides. You are not allowed to walk around by yourself. You make a brief stop at 3 spots. Don't see much of the island. Not worth the money... More

Finding the place to book the rip was a major expedition..They were not located where they say they are so after much looking around i found them. They trip was very expensive and the tour was all in Japanese so don't expect much. The island is very cool and i wish we could walk around it more.
