Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Labuk Bay Probiscos was worthwhile visiting and watching the feeding. Our driver Mr Farhan (+60 11-2532 2699) was very professional, friendly and accomodating.

Very disappointing visit. Whilst there is no guarantee of seeing the gorgeous orangutans we sit through a 20 minute briefing on the do’s and dont’s and then it falls flat because no orangutan in site. Having been to Sepilok we felt this was a waste of time and money. All there was, was a small presentation video room and a few photos - not even a shop to buy stuff, though there was a stall seller in car park. They should make this a more interesting centre if you are unable to see an orangutan. Felt so flat and will not go again.

Dear Sir, Madam, Good Day I am very sorry for your disappointment. Semenggoh Center has been establish since the 1980's , dedicated to rehabilitating Orangutans. having visitor such as your good self contributes to the upkeep of this center. We are truly sorry they were no Orangutans although the Fruit Buffet was set up daily. As the orangutans mature from the rehabilitation program , they are release to the Semenggoh Forest Reserve. Freely to roam the forest canopy and return to the center for a fruit buffet. Fruit trees in the forest with it's scents of different fruit trees may have the Orangutans swinging from tree to trees searching for the fruit. On your next trip to Borneo , please visit Sandakan . Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary. We look forward to serve you again.

Dear Sir , Madam Good Day We are glad you enjoyed the trip. The Mossy Forest is a very prestige forest. Most forest when mention is humid and high tree top canopy. The steps we build to avoid guest from stepping on the slippery ground. Elevated at 3000ft above sea level , air is cooler and ground is moist. Please visit the Aboriginal Native Village on your next visit. We look forward to serve you again. Sincerely, MH Team

Dear Sir / Madam Good Day Thank you for a good review of Sarawak Cultural Village , our little presentation of Borneo's rich culture. We are glad you enjoyed the lunch , pls try Bidayuh ethnic meal bamboo chicken. Sorry for dissapointing your visit in Semenggoh. The Orangutans do appear during feeding time. The center is dedicated to rehabilitating and releasing the Orangutans to their natural environment and adapt to the forest naturally. I hope you had a change to adopt a Orangutan on this trip. Pls try on-line if you haven't already. We look forward to serve you again on your next visit. Thank you MH Team

The guide was fantastic. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very articulated. He made the visit so enjoyable and it was wonderful to see all the staff enjoying what they are doing.
Certainly recommend this and special mention to Papoi ( not sure if I got it correctly but we joked that his name is similar to Popeye)
We know that he is half Bajau.

Dear Respected Visitor Good Day Thank you for visiting Bako National Park. We always do our best to have no contact with the wild animals at Bako National Park. This is to preserve their natural habitat and minimum distance to prevent from encroaching their space. In due time it will result to reproduction naturally taking place and multiplying the wildlife residents of Bako National Park, this also included the nocturnal animals & invertebrates. Spotting them may be a little difficult as they shy away from humans. A good sign indicating they (animals ,wildlife) are not accustom to humans as a food dispenser.

Dear Sir / Madam , Good Day Thank you for the review. Your continuous support help's in maintaining the center. When visitors visit us , it sets a benchmark for the Rehabilitation Program to rescue , orphan, captive or relocate Orangutans to Semenggoh Center and through the program release back to the a joining Forest Reserve. V/R, Edwin
