I had been to the City Gallery before and loved it so I returned with my parents. We had a free guided tour with Catherine who was very knowledgable and friendly. She stayed with us right until the gift shop and offered wonderful insight into the gallery and Kuala Lumpur history. The gallery itself is small but well-kept and interesting.... More

We only went to Gallery so we could have our photo taken at the "I❤KL" sign. We located the sign while on the Hop On Hop Off bus, so we got off the bus had our photo taken then back on bus.

A place with cold AC in a hot day. Entrance fee is RM 5.0 which give you a voucher of RM 5.0 to spend in their cafe or gift shop. The objects displayed (Chinese New Year meal on a table, pictures of old KL and a light show on miniatures of KL buildings) were not impressive for me.

We were in Dataran Merdeka one afternoon when one of us needed to use the toilet. We noticed this gallery and found that the air-cond in the gallery is pretty cold. So we decided to step in for a little respite from the heat. Entrance fee is RM5-00 per pax and in return we are given voucher worth RM5-00 each... More

Good place to visit if have left some time. They will charge you a 5rin but its worth. You can buy some something in inside restaurant or from the shop for the similar value you paid for the entrance.

This place was a nice cool place to spend a while on hot and sunny day. The admission was 5 ringgit and if you buy something in the store you get to take the cost of the entrance fee off of the purchase. It had the history of Kuala Lumpur and a neat model of the city. My favorite place... More

KL has a great history and this place gives a small insight into the beginnings of the busy city. The have a good collection of old photographs to show the origins of the city. The light and sound show in the scale model is ok. Downstairs you have lots of shops with reasonable quality products which are slightly overpriced. Though... More

Came to this expecting it to be amazing and it did disappoint slightly but still nice to look round. Unexpected entry fee but you can redeem this in the shop or cafe - I got a homemade lemonade. I didn't eat there but the food looked amazing and relatively reasonable for an air conditioned place! Pop by - interesting enough... More
