Best to arrive a bit earlier before the crowd, great fun and excellent staff. We enjoyed the tour with Yan, very informative and interesting and really enjoyed the foundry experience making our own key chains with Hafiz. He was so helpful and his friendly manner made the activity great fun for all our group. Really enjoyed the shopping at the... More

Even if you are a local, you should come and visit. It is free! Spend an hour here and it was worth it. You get a free private tour. You can also spend RM180 to create your own pewter.

We loved this. So informative, interesting and brilliantly designed, free, tour. Worth doing. See the handcrafted Pewter items being made, have a go yourself, learn some stuff and buy a few bits before you leave. Cracking visit. Go do it.

Our tour of the Royal Selangor Pewter factory was wonderful. The girl escorting us on the tour was very knowledgable and friendly. We say all the various processes that go into making the best pewter products in the world. The shop has some very nice pieces that you may wish to purchase and take home.

Fantastic tour with very knowledgeable and very friendly guide, great staff in School of Hard Knocks and shop. And topped up with a nice chat with the founder's grand daughter. Highly recommended for foreign guests as well as locals.

We were brought here as part of a tour package. It was interesting to see all the hand craftsmanship. Everyone working there was very nice. They did a really nice and thoughtful tour. It's still a family business and that is nice to see.

I visited here with my parents in summer 2015, there are no entrance fees, they will give you a tour of their production line, and at the end, you can buy some pricey, beautiful artifacts from their shop. (Note: I put March 2016 because it would not give me an option of an earlier date)

The visitor center is build on the land of the old mine. It is modern and wheelchair friendly, exhibiting the Royal Selangor Pewters. We have a great time with... More
