I usually go there for some shopping of Muslim cloths , fabrics, scarfs ...Indian sari ........I never try to eat there ............... the price is cheap for fabrics and textiles comparing with other places, also walking there in this streets is typically Asian Malaysian world ...

At one time in the 60s and 70s, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman was the shopping hub of Kuala Lumpur. Today, with shopping malls all over the Klang Valley, it’s just an ordinary street, but you can still get discounted products.

Night market and street food heaven... the price is cheap but beware of hygiene issue... bargain hunting is everywhere in this area

the place offers you a lot of choices....you can buy clothes, shoes, sandals, cloths, shawls, scarfs and so many things here..great place if you are a thrifty shopper

Along this one way street lies Sogo Shopping, Pertama Complex where western food, The Ship is located, further down another western food restaurant which a very English concept, The Colisuem, have many fabrics shops, branded shoes etc.

Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman have a lot of shop to shopping and a lot of stall to buy anything like shoe, cloth, watch, bag, fruit and many more. Jalan T.A.R. as your cabbie will call it runs from chow kit market to freedom square and national mosque as far as tourist interest interests go.sogo department store is here and is the largest department store in K.L.our usual items of interest in sogo are bras.
