The entire stretch of Tuanku Abdul Rahman Road or Jalan TAR is occupied by textile shops. The abundance of shops means that prices are competitive (bargains are aplenty). So the famous Jalan Tar, along the roads there are loads and loads of shops selling muslimah and indian clothing. Also, Sogo is also nearby for high-end shopping experience

it's night market with all te convenience groceries at your eyes with the price reasonable..there are stalls with the dishes and cuisine at your taste with an open atmosphere you can experience the breeze of the air.

The whole stretch of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman or Tuanku Abdul Rahman Road is full of surprises. Small and big shops selling interesting goods from clothing to food stuffs.. great place to visit, especially when you have a pocket full of money..

Mostly local people will visit this street to enjoy nightlife with family/friends. Some tourist will drop by this area as well, to get cheaper stuff and hang out with local. This is a very popular street and was the former clothing centre of Kuala Lumpur in the 70/80's. My mum used to go go Globe Silk Store to buy my school uniform and other clothes. I usually go there for some shopping of Muslim cloths , fabrics, scarfs ...Indian sari ........I never try to eat there ............... the price is cheap for fabrics and textiles comparing with other places, also walking there in this streets is typically Asian Malaysian world ...
