This was I’ve of my favourite activities in three weeks in SE Asia. The batik was fascinating and great fun but it’s the interaction with Emilia that made it so much fun. She’s hilarious, warm and welcoming. Definitely no hard sell. Her work is astonishing and available to purchase at very reasonable prices if you choose to. I contacted her via WhatsApp to arrange a time which worked out really well. I paid when I got there (she also has credit card facilities). The studio is on the ground floor of her house so you feel like you’ve almost made a friend by the time you leave.

Fantastic experience by the dynamic Emilia and her staff , e learned and experienced the hands on art of Batik and took away our own art works . She teaches individual and groups and knows her practice . More than that she knows people and can inspire others to free up their creativity! Her workshops are recommended.

My son joined the tie dyed t-shirt activity and he had so much fun. Great activity for everyone and we got nice tie-dyed t-shirts at the end of the session. The duration of the activity is about 1 hour. My son was given a new white shirt for the activity. They will guide you throughout the whole fun process and at the end, my son got a tie dyed shirt to be worn the next day.
