Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Do not even bother visiting. There are more closed stores than open stores. the place was a ghost town on a Sunday afternoon.
Plus, none of the food vendors were busy at all. If there are no customers in the mall, do you really want to eat something there? Chances are it probably isn't the freshest food.

New parking system sucks big time. A few times went to NSK to shop and got stuck at the exit due to the new system they installed. Took about 30mins to leave. Very Bad parking system.

I would recommend this mall because it's very spacious! and extremely clean toilets too. I can easily access this mall via the link bridge from Medan Tuanku so no need to pay expensive taxis! There's NSK, Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Mr DIY, wonderful kopitiams, KFC, Pizza - all got! Fantastic place if you're looking to chill out for a while in the middle of the KL city.

Quill City Mall KL is a 8-story shopping mall located on Jalan Sultan Ismail, at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Opened in 2014, it has not really gotten off as the mall to be as occupancy rate as of today stands at possibly only 35-40%. You can still find your usual Mr. DIY, Starbucks, H&M, Borders, and a couple more. However, if you really browse around level by level you will find that there are still a lot of vacant lots. Even their anchor tenant, AEON supermarket, has closed down for good.

I don't know if it's because of pandemic, but the mall seems empty. Or maybe I went a bit early in the morning. Nevertheless, I really like that this mall is linked to the Kuala Lumpur Monorail Line so it's easy for me to go to the mall. I went there to watch cinema and it's my first time there. I don't really get to explore all the shops in the mall but as it's big, I'm sure there's a lot of good shops there.

If you don’t like crowds and live/put up around KL city centre, Quill City Mall is a relatively big but quiet mall. It’s popular with some students. The mall is only slightly more crowded when there are exhibitions as it has a convention centre too.

If you don’t drive, you can get to the mall directly via Medan Tuanku (KL monorail) station as there is a linkbridge. Dang Wangi station (Kelana Jaya LRT) is a bit far away but it’s walkable.

We had read that Quill City Mall is a small mall as a lot of the businesses have moved out, so initially we only went to the Lower Ground Level, where we found several places to eat and the supermarket we were looking for - Aeon. Later on in our holiday though we realised there were actually higher floors with even more shops and restaurants to choose from! Such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster, Pancake House, Baskin Robbins and a random assortment of shops, including some familiar such as H&M and Next! Although not every shop space is occupied we still found plenty of choice here for eating out.

We enjoyed a quick meal at Fuel Shack, which is a fast food burger joint where you order at counter and take your food to your seat. Husband had an excellent burger, with perfect meat to mayo to bun ratio! We paid extra for the waffle fries which were tasty, but a lot more oily than the regular thin cut fries. The hot dog with mince was okay I guess, but mince was cold so I wouldn't buy again. Whereas the fries were all boiling hot! Okay value at 42.90MYR with soft drinks each.

Saba Town is a Turkish kebab restaurant and we opted for their kebab meal deal for 3 persons; 4 small kebabs with 2 types of rice, a hot broth and iced tea for all. We also ordered a salad on the side and a diet coke, total cost 88MYR. Just enough food for 3 persons. Service however was incredibly slow, I'm not sure if there was a changeover in staff going on, but we sat for a long time waiting on service, so didn't go back although food was good.

Also on lower ground level are a chicken and rice place, suishi restaurant, fish restaurant, pretzel stand, plus others. We took sandwiches away from Subway a couple of times too.

We stayed nearby at The Face Suites for 10 days and went shopping 3-4 times at Aeon to pick up water, drinks, snacks and small meals I could cook in the microwave/on the hob for lunch in the apartment.

There are a couple of pokestops and gyms here too!

This mall was alright I went here with the family to have red lobster.

This mall does not have a currency exchange place.

It was easy to get a Grab to and from this mall.

Pancake house was closed the day we went.
