I was disappointed when I found out that the national Library was closed on a Sunday afternoon but then I found right beside a local art gallery with interesting displays of local handicraft !

Although the gallery was not that expansive, there was a display of local modern art as well as historical information about Seychelles. From time to time there are exhibits on display and it definitely is worth visiting if you have some time to spare.
