One of the heroes

Located at Intromuros this shrine is located just outside the Rizal museum. This shrine is just another photo opt for me but for the people of manila it's one of their heroes.

So very sad he was legally murdered, god knows what he could have gone on to provide to the Philippine people as well as those who came in to contact with... More

Senor Rizal is a national hero and this park is dedicated to his memory. I found it to be a lovely, introspective place.

Jose Rizal or Hoseh Rizal as it is pronounced by Filipino people. Nice information and many statues showing all the period of Rizal's life. The letter he wrote to his family. A nice place to visit.

This also has quite a bit of history for the Philippine people. From artifacts to some of his doctors instruments.

A small museum that is relatively well done and a pleasant addition to the fort visit. Worth a quick detour to learn about the Rizal story.

An excellent museum which gives an authentic feel to life in Rizal's time. There are many items of interest, some of which were used by Rizal. Well worth a visit.

The museum is well kept, fully air conditioned and informative. The shrine, you'll find various memorabilia such as paintings, photographs, clothes, shells that Dr. Jose Rizal collected during his time.
