This also has quite a bit of history for the Philippine people. From artifacts to some of his doctors instruments.

A small museum that is relatively well done and a pleasant addition to the fort visit. Worth a quick detour to learn about the Rizal story.

An excellent museum which gives an authentic feel to life in Rizal's time. There are many items of interest, some of which were used by Rizal. Well worth a visit.

The museum is well kept, fully air conditioned and informative. The shrine, you'll find various memorabilia such as paintings, photographs, clothes, shells that Dr. Jose Rizal collected during his time. They also have this statue image in one of the dim light room, a bit creepy though. Just noticed: Not enough security considering the insides content is national heroes memorabilia.... More

This shrine is dedicated to a national hero of Philippines, Rizal who brought better life to people. Here you will be told a full and interesting story about this man. Personally, it is not a good idea to miss it the shrine when you visit Manila. Free entrance

The last time I went here was when I was in college. There was a tour on the place where Rizal actually grew up.There was a video of Rizal's life constantly played in the garden and some items for sale. It was quite educational for us and I do recommend this for students especially those who are interested in studying... More

This museum used to be very plain. What used to be the highlights only are some set of clothes, a wax Rizal figure which you cannot even approach, and his vertebrae. The NHCP vastly improved the museum with too many details big or small about Dr. Jose Rizal. They added detailed accounts of his trials, executions, his works, sketches, and... More

I never heard of Rizal before but after visiting this shrine I was a lot more knowledgeable and much more of a wise man. Rizal is a hero for a reason and this great man who was a normal man changed the life of the phillipines for the better!
