This was a great tour. I can't recommend it enough. There is not much walking, we learned about the history of Manila including the Spanish colonisation, the revolution, the American period, the devastating second world war and why the city is the way it is...More

Wacky and humorous Carlos Celdran brings Manila’s history to life through his delivery of the walking tour as a performance art. His knowledge and love of the city shone through as he performed his way from the Spanish colonisation through to the country’s independence. Enjoyable...More

Carlos is an informative, entertaining tour guide. As a naturalized US citizen, I agree and appreciate his political view point. Highly recommend Carlos!

I went as a member of a group on the Intramuros walking tour and overall really enjoyed the experience. Expect some of the grim history on this tour where you learn about the colorful, scattered and chaotic past of Manila. The tour includes the good,...More

This walk was a performance rather than the typical guided tour. Some of the content was interesting but for my taste the shouting and singing got in the way. Carlos the tour leader seemed intent on projecting his personality at the expense of information/education. He...More

Entertaining, informative, memorable. My only concern is that the group is quite big (about 100 persons in the Intramuros tour), but nevertheless it was well-managed and organized. Would love to see this walking tour expand (with more guides and locations outside Manila).

This was a very unusual walking tour, but I am glad I went. First, their reservation & payment process is suboptimal. I sent an email a few days ago & received several unclear answers about when their next tour was scheduled. Eventually, it was sorted...More

We booked Carlos’ tour on the same morning (via SMS) and joined a big group at the Intramuros ticket office. The tour itself was amazing, Carlos is the real deal. A lot of background information and his theatralic gestures are amazing. You learn how to...More

I would ask the hotel to book you a car and driver as Ortigas is far from where the tour takes place. Expect heavy traffic - I would allow 2 hours. It is always hot in Manila so bring water, wear light clothing. Cost is... More

It's very feasible for seniors. No large staircases and there are wheelchairs available should they need it. At that time of year, I hold my tours later in the afternoon so it isn't so hot. No worries at all.
