Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was relatively easy to book and coordinate with the Park Administration for a Corporate Event at Paco Park. The venue is unique, historical, romantic, and elegant. The fountain is beautiful at night. Bookings for the Chapel is separate. Perfect for musical or outdoor theatre event. We brought our own caterer. Make sure you inspect the toilets. Bring your own amenities because the administration does not provide that. If they did, they would get more bookings for the venue.

The park is really a cemetary with a chapel on one end encircled by a pair of walls. Within the walls are interred remains of city figures, religious orders, and some historical national figures. It is well cared for. Within the walls are many different flora. Perfect for wedding pictures which is what Manila residents use it for. A short walk from Taft Ave and the LRT. Also a short walk to Paco Market. Buy some food and eat it here. The surrounding neighborhood is family oriented. No loud music like Rizal Park. Just a serene and calming atmosphere. On weekends, its a little busy.

Paco Park is in old town, Manila, and it is steeped in history. Surrounded by thick high walls, it is like stepping into a secret garden and the sounds of outside fade away. Walk around the pathways and listen to the birds singing and take in the serenity. Be sure to show respect to the history here, and leave only footprints. Take your time to read the plaques. If you are visiting the Philippines, spending time in Manila and are interested in its history, then make this part of your experience. Pack a picnic, take water to drink and sit under the beautiful ancient trees for a while. It goes without saying that you need to take care of your personal belongings in this area of town. In the carpark, there are a lot of beggars and pickpockets. Once inside the walls, you should be okay.

10 pesos (less than 25 cents U.S.) gets you into this little circular haven tucked away from the choking fumes of Manila. Gorgeous trees line the outer walkway that follows the often worn away graves dating largely from Manila's late colonial era. A central fountain and chapel only add to this welcome sanctuary. Great place for a slow, rejuvenating stroll.

I did not know what to expect when I first came in to this park. Interestingly, I felt so calm touring the park because of the quietness and the greens all over it. Seldom to see such a peaceful place like this in the city. Nostalgic and lovely could be the perfect words to describe this. You can stay here with a book and coffee, or you can spend a lot of time taking photos.

'Been here a couple of times now. From the outside, it is indeed not that appealing. But what I love the most about this tiny little park is the church on center of it. I often tell my friends when im doing a sort of a tour to this place is the fact that this was the place where Dr. Jose Rizal was first buried. Well kept, very clean. I just simple love this place..

Paco Park used to be a cultural center in Manila. But it has since been forgotten. Wake up call to the City Government of Manila to refurbish this landmark.

This park is a gem in the heart of manila. A calm sanctuary amidst the hustle of a busy city. Its a great place to just sit and relax. The small church inside of the park is a perfect venue for a romantic wedding. This park has maintained its charm through the years.
