I was blowed away by the sheer size and beauty of this church. This is well worth a look, when visiting Manila

This is a must-visit church. It is an old church made of steel - the only one found in Asia. A historical landmark that attracts many Catholic devotees. It is currently being restored.

A must visit church to see devotion to Christ, beautiful stained windows. I would urge everyone to google the history of the location before visiting so it has real meaning to you.

In fact one of the few sights worth paying a visit. The only church in Asia made out of steel. Maybe not located in the best neighbourhood. So be aware of your belongings and have a save transport to and from.

This Minor Basilica of the Catholic Church in Metro Manila is not just a national historic landmark, but is also quite magnificent both in its exterior and in the interior - the nave and elsewhere, plus its stained glass. It looks particularly good at night. There is only one other all-steel Catholic Church in the world like San Sebastian -... More

This is the only Church in the Philippines made of all steel structure. We reach this church coming from Quiapo Church via a tricycle more commonly known as "Kuliglig" (its similar to Tuktuk of Thailand )The interior is more majestic - the steel columns, the Stained Glass paintings and the religious figures of saints.A fund raising effort is initiated to refurbished... State funding was accorded to the church through the National Historical Institute which undertook restoration of the church since 1982. The Recollect community has likewise expended funds for the church’s maintenance and restoration. The San Sebastian Church may not... More

It's said to be the only all-steel church in the Philippines. I felt its "hey! I am still in my original form or build" atmosphere.
