UP is a very good place to rediscover nature because it is a walking university. While the campus covers over 400 hectares, it is well-strewn with centuries-old trees that provide a lovely canopy for joggers and cyclists. It lends a romantic feel for couples or families or even just friends who enjoy a nice long walk from here to there.... More

This university is renowned all over the world because of its high class academic standards and the graduates it produce! I am not an alumnus of this institution but, I love and often go to this place to jog! It is safe and gives a nice shade for joggers in the academic oval. So you may jog anytime with less... More

The University of the Philippines is one of the best schools in Asia. Its student population are called 'skolar ng bayan' (scholar of the nation). To be one, way above average scholastic standing must be maintained through out the course. The huge campus provides everything a scholar needs, chapel, gym, theatre, dormitories, low cost,(but fun) eats, coop store, fresh market and... More

There are very few campuses in the Philippines that are worth an actual visit, UP is one of them. As the premier university in this country, it is blessed with really good building architecture, a beautiful tree-line academic oval, a bustling student population and a couple of great stops within the university. Pass by the Vargas Museum for an appreciation... More

This review is quite late. The University of the Philippines is a state university with main campus in Quezon City and other branches in different parts of the country. It is one of the finest institutions of learning with graduates finding their way to the top positions in government and private institutions.

I've always envied city parks with side streets you can walk on for hours. This campus is the closest we have to that. Big old acacia trees line up the main roads that sprawl across the state university campus. If you don't bumping into students or joggers (usually in the early morning/evening), this place is recommended for those who are... More

My husband and I frequent this place to have our weekend bonding time. This place has a very relaxing atmosphere especially along the Sunken Garden. Many people jog here and although pets are not allowed, some do bring their toy dog breeds here. Some also enjoy biking like we do. Just watch out for kids who are learning to bike as... More

The University of the Philippines Diliman man campus is one of the places offering open space and trees. It's a place you can ditch your gadgets and just sit with nature. It is great for walking, jogging and picnics.
