Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As it was late holiday season the market wasn't as well stocked as normal. The market has been split into two food on one clothes etc in another. But you should be able to get what you want in high season

Bit late now but update on previous post. The Saturday market has been split over TWO locations. The Produce market, ie: fruit, veg, cheeses etc is to be found in the new location under a purpose built cover. It's expanded to fill the whole area. There's parking, to pay for, I think, but it's very exposed - so HOT!
The Textile market has been relocated to where the old produce market used to be. Plenty of stalls and now also near the variety of restaurants & cafés for that much needed refreshment stop. Enjoy!

Nice market, medium in size. Bought very tasty olives and other fare from lower floor. As always be careful buying "branded" clothing and only start haggling if you really want to buy, but don't pay more than it is worth to you. Walk away from hard-sellers. Had a lot of difficulty finding a taxi to take us back to the hotel.

The market itself is good, lots of cloths, belts and shoes, good price but have to heckles, cheaper then usual town market if I say so.
The market has divided into 2 different areas, one where all the fresh veg and fruits are and the other where you'll find literally everything else. From home decor to utensils, clothing, perfumes, lots and lots of souvenirs, and many other things.
You will have to go and visit, its a life time experience.
Also the place of this bazar has changed, so be aware about the new area.

Please note NEW LOCATION. Turgutreis, Beyoğlu Cd., 48960 Bodrum/Muğla
After decades where the produce and textile Saturday markets (Pazari) were stuck in narrow street locations, the whole kit&kaboodle has moved to a purpose built, covered location at the opposite end of the Town. Also now open on Sundays. In my opinion, it's lost a lot of the quaintness & character but it's much bigger now, airer and even has Loos! Only lacking some sit-down coffee & snax or meal outlets, but I guess that'll come in time.

An interesting selection of stalls, one section offering food, spices etc, the other section, a 15 minute walk away strangely, offering clothes etc.
We found the constant high pressure sales tactics of the clothing stall vendors in particular intrusive and tiring, that coupled with the fact most of the items on sale are copies of well known brands and not of great quality, we left early!
