Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The name of this beach is correct. In the course of the afternoon the sea constantly changes its colours until the sun sets behind the little islands in the bay. I was not particularly fascinated by this beach. It looked neutral. When I was there, the promenade (with a little windmill) was deserted. People were either on the beach or at home. Some elderly couples were driving around on electric vehicles. More tourists frequented the souvenir shops. I preferred to go to the mosque and to Atatürk Square.

Stayed opposite beach in the Sunset Appartments and found the beach to be very nice sun beds all along serviced by a few resteraunts. No payment for beds required, order food and drinks from waiters on the beach who didn't hassle you, but were on hand to take orders when you need anything. Beach cleaned each morning of any rubbish. Only negative if you don't like dogs there are a few of the stays that like to take shade under your beds! .They don't bother you though and seem friendly.Paragliding and other water sports available. If you want a better beach I would recommend Meteor beach at Akyarla, 15 mins on the Dolmus. Can catch it along the road by DMarina, which we tended to do.

The sunset beach is one of the most popular place in Turgutreis/Bodrum waterfront. You can really admire there the sunset, going down between the Eagean islands... And during the day you can use the very large and sandy beach.
Alongside the beach there are 3-4 good fish restaurants, and a Turkish kitchen one, namely Lapikant Restaurant, my favorite .
