a nice, on the small side place to visit. walking is involved but not to extremes. a delightful place on a sunny day, although a lot of it is inside you would want to walk a bit outside (would need to). take a little time here, don't hurry it. a place to take advantage in teaching and learning.

My husband and I have visited multiple times. For Spooky Science in October with our grandkids to the butterfly house, greenhouse and walking trails. The wildlife and the scenery are just lovely! We have enjoyed each visit as much as the others and will keep going back!!

Inspired us to look more into helping Monarch butterflies thrive. Helpful staff explained the life cycle and habits of the Monarch.

A place to stop and smell the Roses, other flowers and plants. Admire the beauty of nature, that offers free parking, free admission, three various short trails that are less than an hours hike each. Signs along the trails and planters identify foliage. There are 3 green houses with more plants and a butterfly dome with small admission price. For... More

We went as a family. We walked a sad trail. We saw a boring greenhouse. We stood in the sun and wondered why we were there. Don't plan to spend an afternoon. It's a nice place with not much to see

We had a little difficulty finding this place via GPS--it had us turning a street before, then telling us to cross railroad tracks. Luckily we didn't do this; we turned around and just kept driving. We talked to another couple, and their GPS was incorrect--so if you're having trouble finding it, it might be better to just call. (Incidentally, had... More

We go here for various things. They have a fall festival called spooky science my kids always liked when smaller, hiking, bird feeding in the winter, plant sales. The butterfly house is fantastic! Great for any ages. The people that run it really care about children learning and are interactive.

I'm 34 years old with no children and I loved my first trip to Beech Creek to see the butterflies! I went with my parents and we watched as the butterflies emerged from their cocoons and after a few minutes of spreading their wings and drying out, we were able to hold them! It was awesome! They were beautiful. The... More

We love taking the grandchildren to Beach Creek Botanacle gardens! They can run off some energy, and learn at the same time!

Its a local botanical garden that is kid and family-friendly. There is always something to do there with the kids or just enjoy the environment.
