When visiting Ada, which we do frequently, my children routinely ask to go to this park. Wintersmith Park is not your average park typical to Southern Oklahoma. We are always happy with our time here!

Drive-thru and visit the animal park. Walk up to the petrified tree. Walk around the park for exercise but watch for dog and goose crap on the walkways. In the summer, visit the train with kids or the swimming pool. I miss the old monkey...More

We always have a good time at this park. The fenced animals are gone, but there are still numerous ducks and geese. I also enjoy running at this park. They have activities in the spring and fall for families. The new swimming area is great!!...More

Wintersmith Park is a lovely city park near East Cemtral Unversity. It is home to several species of geese which are fun to watch in the lake areas. There is a great waterpark and very nice walking trails. Lucky folks in Ada!

While it isn't the biggest or most glamorous park I've experienced, I always enjoy a walk through the wooded areas of Wintersmith. Whether it is seeing the petrified tree, going by the amphitheater, playing some softball, fishing or blazing a new trail with my son,...More

This was a beautiful park for the evening walk. The fully paved walking trail was just appropriate with its grades and the distance. It goes all around the lake and has some great shaded areas even if the sun is hot and overhead. We enjoyed...More
